Bleeding, waters breaking, regular pains before 37 weeks, no baby movements, severe headache with blurred vision, or sudden swelling of the face and hands.
Regular strengthening pains, or waters that have broken, at any hour.
Sudden severe lower abdominal pain, or bleeding that is soaking through protection, whether or not you are pregnant.
A missed period with one-sided lower abdominal pain, with or without bleeding, needs assessment immediately and not in the morning.
Any one of these is reason enough to book. You do not need all of them.
